Terms of Service

Quality Inspection Service

  • Guided Imports offers the following inspection services: (for more detailed descriptions of each of these inspections, please refer to our website)
    • Pre-Production Inspection
    • During Production Inspection
    • Container Loading Check
    • Pre-Shipment Inspection
  • Guided Imports retains the right to decline inspection requests.
  • After purchasing the Quality Inspection Service, Guided Imports Needs at least two business days to facilitate planning the inspection.
  • The finished report reflects our findings at the time and place of inspection.
  • The report does not include evidence of shipment.
  • Special inspection tests are to be performed at the discretion of the inspector.
  • All inspection dates must be finalized between supplier and inspector after the order is placed.
  • Client Obligations:
    • Alert Guided Imports of the requested inspection date as per factory’s advice.
    • Guided Imports must be provided access to the site and to the materials.
    • Clear inspection instructions must be provided with adequate lead time for Guided Imports to fully understand those instructions and ask followup questions, if necessary.
  • Full payment must be made prior to Guided Imports undertaking any work on client’s behalf via the Guided Imports payment portal page
  • Cancellations
    • A cancellation request must be received by Guided Imports no later than 24 hours prior to the inspection. Cancellation requests that are sent during weekends will not be received until Monday.
    • In the event Guided Imports is unable to perform an inspection due to either a factory or client delay, the inspection will not be considered cancelled, and is subject to rescheduling.
  • Limitation of Liability
    • Guided Imports is neither an insurer nor guarantor and disclaims such capacity.
    • Guided Imports will issue a report with facts presented to us by third party inspectors.
    • Guided Imports’ inspection report to client is limited to the information provided on the inspector’s report and does not reflect any situation that was not recorded by the inspector.
    • Client acknowledges that the inspectors are neither employees or representatives of Guided Imports.
    • Guided Imports does not repack goods.
    • Guided Imports’ liability for any and all claims, losses, expenses, injuries, or damages arising out of or in any way related to this Agreement by any act or omission, including breach of contract or negligence not amounting to a wilful or intentional wrong, shall not exceed the total compensation received by Guided Imports under this Agreement.
    • Client hereby agrees, to the fullest extent permitted by law, that Guided Imports shall not be liable to Client for any special, indirect or consequential damages whatsoever, whether caused by Guided Imports’ negligence, errors, omissions, strict liability, breach of contract or other cause or causes, including but not limited to loss of use and loss of profits or revenue.
  • Indemnification
    • Client hereby agrees to hold harmless and indemnify Guided Imports from any and all claims made as a result of the inspection process or as a result of any claims brought against Guided Imports arising from or relating to this Agreement.
